Kansas City, Mo. – Just as a propeller gains momentum, catapulting a vessel through water, one local company has made it their mission to gather the brightest talent to lead businesses ahead in Kansas City.
For nearly 20 years AdamsGabbert (AG) has been serving businesses in the Kansas City Community. They’ve listened to the needs of their clients, proactively building client services to meet those needs, which has led to a streak of rapid growth for both their company and their clientele.
When CEO Denise Kruse took the helm eight years ago, the company’s growth had been stagnant, however she saw the potential. An accomplished business leader with more than 30 years of experience in corporate general management and consulting, Kruse foresaw how AG could make an economic impact for businesses in Kansas City and acquired the business two years later.
She then expanded her team, bringing Stacy Rose into the fold, who now leads AG operations, strengthening the business both internally for AG and externally for its clients. Together, the team was devoted to listening and infusing fresh ideas, evolving their capabilities beyond consulting services, recruiting and staffing, to include payrolling and the newly added technology services.
AG works tirelessly to track and anticipate the trends impacting their industry; and while they’ve historically served larger companies, they discovered a need for technology services in the underserved small-to-mid sized market. That’s why earlier this year they introduced their fourth line of business, technology services, consisting of managed IT services and cloud services. Their aim is to help smaller companies leverage technology, empower employees, safeguard their business and simplify IT management.
Between 2012 and 2017, the company witnessed extreme growth with a 721 percent increase in employee count, 342 percent increase in revenue and 1,432 percent increase in profit. And the growth doesn’t stop there. The company also touts a growing list of accolades, including being named a Kansas City Business Journal Fast 50 company, breaking the top 20 of the city’s biggest Women-Owned Businesses, earning the Community Stewardship Award from KC Business Magazine, gracing Ingram’s Corporate Report 100 List six years in a row, receiving the KC Chamber’s Healthy KC Silver Certification, and being named a Top 10 KC Chamber Small Business for two consecutive years.
“We’re always looking for innovative ways to solve our clients’ business challenges, and our expertise in operational excellence internally permeates throughout our work,” said Kruse. “Our services provide tremendous value to the Kansas City business community. We’re proud of all that we’ve built in the last eight years, and we’re committed to continuing that growth, while thoughtfully keeping sight of our culture so we don’t lose the great things about who we are.”
They’re thought leaders. They’re problem solvers. They’re clarity creators. They’re change navigators. AG remains committed to making businesses better, and they’re looking forward to where that journey will take them next.
